Holman's Supports Steiner's Pub

On Friday May 20th, Holman's had three teams participate in the Steiner's Semi-Now Annual Golf Tournament. It was a gorgeous day to get out of the office and play a round in the sun! Roger Sachs & company sure know how to throw a party. In addition to free drinks, many interesting games were played on the holes, and afterwards there was a pub party with lots of giveaways. The Holman's team have participated in this event several times and recommend it to everyone!

We highly enjoy our working relationship with Steiner's, taking care of their IT needs. They now offer wifi at all three of their locations.

Hi-Definition Scanning: Leica ScanStation C10 Workshop

This past April 2011, Joshua Vandiver of Leica Geosystems visited Holman's and gave an excellent demonstration of the new Leica ScanStation C10 to a group of Holman's and H&S customers. Surveyors, Inspectors, Project Managers, and Designers alike took part in the workshop to learn how to integrate Hi-Definition Scanning into their current as-built workflow in order to increase speed and accuracy and reduce risk.

For the first part of the demonstration, Joshua performed a scan in front of the Holman's office.

After the scan was complete, Joshua brought the audience inside to examine the data of the scan that was just performed using Leica Cyclone 7.1 SCAN laser scanner control software and Leica TruView panoramic point cloud viewer.
